Vineet Vyas

Vineet Vyas accompanies Verma on tabla. Born in Canada, Vyas was introduced to the tabla at a young age by his grandfather, noted vocalist Pandit Brahmanand Vyas, and his father, talented sitar player Shri Vijaya Vyas. Since 1987, Vyas has been studying under celebrated tabla master Pandit Kishan Maharaj. At 17, Vyas performed his first major concert at Expo '86 in Vancouver, Canada. Since then he has played with many well-known Indian vocalists, instrumentalists and kathak dancers in North America, Europe and India. An accomplished soloist, Vyas has worked on many cross-cultural projects.
